The Temple is a new bar opening in Brighton, and is a popular and traditional Brighton bar. It is located on Western Road, the main shopping street in Brighton, at the junction with Temple Street and also the main road that leads towards hove. It's is a short (2 minute) walk from Churchill Square shopping centre, and numerous buses that serve the centre of Brighton all stop very close by. It is a short walk from the seafront, station and many other centrally located Fringe venues.

The Bar was completely refurbished in late 2009, and the Temple serves a wide selection of drinks, and offers food all day. The front of the bar opens onto the street making the main bar light and airy, with outdoor seating to let people enjoy a drink in the sun between fringe shows - upstairs is a 70 seat, cabaret style performance space.

There will be Fringe shows here from late afternoon, to Midnight during most days of the fringe - the full list of shows for May 2010 will be available in late February 2010.

The Bar is open from Midday to Midnight Sunday to Thursdays, and until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays - with food served from midday to 5pm.
